National Population Commission Adhoc Staff Salary for 2023 Census


The Candidates and potential ad-hoc staff members of the National Population Commission (NPC) have been on the edge of their seats, eager to know the specifics of their salary packages, as the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise draws near.

While the recruitment process has been ongoing for several months, the actual NPC Adhoc Staff Salaries have been shrouded in mystery.

Many Candidates have been interested about the details of their compensation packages, with one major question on everyone’s minds: “What’s the NPC Adhoc Staff Salary like?” Until now, that is.

The 2023 Census Exercise is an important national event that requires the participation of over two million ad-hoc staff members to assure its smooth and successful completion.

The National Population Commission has already shortlisted the Specialized Workforce and Facilitators, who have been undergoing e-learning and will soon be experiencing contact training.

The shortlisting of Enumerators and Supervisors is expected to take place between January 16th and January 31st, 2023.


So, what can these ad-hoc staff members expect in terms of salary packages? Here are the details of the NPC Adhoc Staff Salaries for each role:


• Enumerators: N100,000 – N220,000

• Supervisors: N130,000 – N230,000

• Monitoring & Evaluation Officers: N150,000 – N300,000

• Facilitators: N150,000 – N300,000

• Assurance Assistants/Rovers: N130,000 – N280,000

It’s important to note that these salary packages are only temporary and only cover the duration of the 2023 Census Exercise. These salaries are also subject to change without prior notice, as determined by the NPC.
