BREAKING NEWS: DSS frees ex-EFCC Chief, Bawa after More 134 days

Department of State Security Services has released the former EFCC boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa.

Akelicious reports that this is after mote 134 days in care.

According to Presidential and Security Sources, Bawa was released on Wednesday night.

In June, the office of the Secretary to the Government of Federation (SGF) had said in a statement signed by Willie Bassey, Director of Information, that the ex-EFCC boss’ suspension resulted from “weighty allegations of abuse of office levelled against him.”

The DSS has confirmed the release of the ex-EFCC boss.
